Did you know Iggy Azalea was born a boy named Cody? Neither did she.
The rapper posted the hilarious rumor Friday morning (December 12), giving us all a good laugh.
Wait, so I'm just now reading that I was born a man and my name is Cody? *Cackling* why Cody tho? Lol.

The story she’s referring to comes from a site called Huzlers. Here’s a hilarious clip:
Huzlers Iggy Azalea
Huzler’s source is wacky because, um, we’re MTV, and Iggy never said that to us. Nevertheless, the whole thing is a great way to kick off the weekend, and Twitter had fun with it.
I just don't see myself as a Cody.

Iggy Azalea reveals the title of her upcoming tour, as well as hints at her sophomore album.
Love her or hate her, there’s no denying the success that Iggy Azalea had in 2014. With 2015 right around the corner, Iggy will look to carry over that success into the new year by releasing her sophomore album, and embarking on her first ever stadium tour.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, Iggy revealed that she has a new tour in the works for 2015 called “The Great Escape Tour”, which she hints as being “somewhat relatable” to her sophomore album title. “I like the idea of me being kind of a musical escape artist for people,” Iggy says.
Unfortunately there’s no dates or concrete information about the tour yet, but we do know that Nick Jonas will be the opening act. Look for those dates and an official announcement to come soon.
Check out Iggy’s tweets below.

A few weeks ago Iggy Azealea hinted that she was working on something with Britney Spears, and it looks like that something is a collaborative track that could be released very shortly. Like, today.
A site called BreatheHeavy is reporting that the song is titled “BLI$$,” is written by J.Pebworth, A. Kelly, B. Spears and J.Shave, and is slated for a 12/9 drop.
If true, this is either going to be Christmas come early or a reminder of everything that’s wrong with music in 2014. If it’s false, this cover art has to used for at least something — a collaborative line of power scrunchies?

On Friday, Iggy Azalea scored four nominations at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards including Best New Artist and Record of the Year for “Fancy.” The Aussie rap sensation also picked up nods for Best Rap Album for The New Classic and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
During his appearance at Power 106′s Cali Christmas on Friday, her Hustle Gang mentor T.I. was beaming with pride as he reacted to the news.
“It’s awesome,” he told Rap-Up TV. “We’re just incredibly proud of her and happy that she’s enjoying her moment. She’s worked hard.”
According to Tip, Iggy is heading back into the studio soon to work on her sophomore album.
“She’s really just focused on her next project though,” he added. “She’s definitely working diligently trying to make sure that she maintains this level of intensity.”
When asked if he will be part of the project, Tip laughed. “We’ll see.”

TweetTwo Australians, one who celebrated her assets in the public eye and one who hid hers behind a paper bag, are among the ten videos we watched on YouTube this year.
Iggy Azalea’s clip for Fancy topped the list of filmclips Australians watched most through 2014 while fellow Australian Sia, whose face is never seen in the clip, came in at number six for the video for her huge hit, Chandelier.
It probably is no surprise that not only have Azalea and Sia both been among the year’s best sellers and now most watched but they have earned multiple Grammy Award nominations ahead of next year’s awards presentation.
As a sign that singing about and eulogising backsides was the music trend of the year – YouTube’s not wholly scientific estimation is that the top 10 videos were played “billions of times” through the year – Azalea’s sometime partner in rhyme, Nicki Minaj, was the second most watched artist on YouTube for her literally arse-shaking clip Anaconda.

Meanwhile, Azalea reappears on the list at No.7 for her collaboration with Ariana Grande, Problem. This amplifies another eye-catching element of this list: all but one video, that for the Chainsmokers’ club banger, #Selfie, is for a song by a female artist.
Rounding out the list are Katy Perry (twice – Dark Horse and This Is How We Do), Shakira (Can’t Remember to Forget You), Meghan Trainor (All about That Bass) and the late arriving but already year-defining Shake It Off from Taylor Swift.
1. Iggy Azalea – Fancy (Explicit) ft. Charli XCX
2. Nicki Minaj – Anaconda
3. Katy Perry – Dark Horse (Official) ft. Juicy J
4. Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass
5. Taylor Swift – Shake It Off
6. Sia – Chandelier (Official Video)
7. Ariana Grande – Problem ft. Iggy Azalea
8. #SELFIE (Official Music Video) – The Chainsmokers
9. Katy Perry – This Is How We Do (Official)
10. Shakira – Can’t Remember to Forget You ft. Rihanna.
